The contest was a great success this year.  We had a really great group of girls come out for Miss Teen Galloway this year. Many of the girls were involved in organizations like National Honor Society, Peer Mediation, Key Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters as well as Varsity Athletics. The contestants were intelligent, well-spoken and were very involved in their community.  Any one of them would have made a great Miss Teen Galloway and the judges were really forced to pick the best of the best.  After careful deliberation the judges chose Katherine Elizabeth Bell as the first runner up and Cierra Kaler-Jones as Miss Teen Galloway 2009.
