Read Across America Day                                                     March 3, 2010. Miss Teen Galloway, Cierra Kaler-Jones, discussed the importance of reading in her life and read some of her favorite books to second and fifth graders at Roland Rogers Elementary School in Galloway Township.

Martin Luther King Jr Day Ceremony                        January 11, 2010. Miss Teen Galloway, Cierra Kaler-Jones, participated in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Ceremony held at Absegami High School Performing Arts Center.  Cierra Kaler-Jones performed a dance to the song, "Make You Feel My Love."  Click here to view the article.

Veteran's Day Ceremony                                                 November 11, 2009. The ceremony was held at the Galloway Township Municipal Building.  Miss Teen Galloway, Cierra Kaler-Jones attended to honor veterans and read the poem "Never Shall I Forget" written by Dee Scerni at the cermony.             Click here to view the article.

Salute to Our Veterans Ceremony                             September 19, 2009. The ceremony was held at Glenn By the Bay. The ceremony was followed by a barbecue. Miss Teen Galloway, helped sell 50-50 tickets at the event.  Click here to view the article.

September 11th Memorial Ceremony                                    September 11, 2009. The ceremony was in remembrance of the events of September 11, 2001.  Miss Teen Galloway, Cierra Kaler-Jones, was there to show her support and help hand out programs for the event. Official Crowning Ceremony                                                 July 22, 2009.  The ceremony was held at Evergreen Campground located on Moss Mill Road in Galloway. Miss Teen Galloway 2008, Jillian Farquharson, was on-hand to officially pass on the title of "Miss Teen Galloway" to Cierra Kaler-Jones.             Click here to view the article. 

4th of July Parade                                                                          July 4, 2009. Miss Teen Galloway 2009, Cierra Kaler-Jones, made her first public appearance at the Galloway Township 4th of July Parade which was held in Smithville. This annual event is the largest parade in the State of New Jersey. There were over 150 entries in this year's parade. The Post-Parade Ceremony was held at the Smithville Greene and acknowledged the sacrifice that veterans made. Click here to view the article.  

Earth Day                                                                                        April 23, 2009.  Miss Teen Galloway, Jillian Farquharson, celebrated Earth day by planting a magnolia tree at Patriot Lake in Galloway.  This was the first stage in a       3-year plan to create a garden that will be sponsored and maintained by Miss Teen Galloway and the Galloway Township 4th of July Parade Committee. The tree was donated by Joe's Farm Market on the White Horse Pike. Click here to view article.

Multicultural Festival                                                             April 4, 2009. The township celebrated diversity with it's annual Multicultural Festival held at the Galloway Township Middle School.  The event featured entertainment and exhibits from cultures all over the world. Miss Teen Galloway, Jillian Farquharson, emceed the show by introducing acts to the audience.

Read Across America                                                                      March 3, 2009. Miss Teen Galloway, Jillian Farquharson, helped promote reading by sharing some of her favorite stories with 4th graders at Roland Rogers Elementary School in Galloway.

Veteran's Day Ceremony                                                          November 11, 2008. A township-wide memorial service was held at the Galloway Township Court Room.  Miss Teen Galloway, Jillian Farquharson, showed her support by attending the ceremony and by leading the National Anthem.

4th of July Parade                                                                          July 4, 2008. Miss Teen Galloway 2008, Jillian Farquharson, made her first public appearance at the Galloway Township 4th of July Parade which was held in Smithville.  This annual event is the largest parade in the State of New Jersey. The theme was World War II.
