The Miss Teen Galloway Contest was started in 2005 and is sponsored by the Galloway Township 4th of July Parade Committee.  Miss Teen Galloway is committed to making a positive influence on Galloway Township and the citizens of Galloway. She serves as a spokesperson for Galloway Township and  as a positive role model for young girls in the community. Miss Teen Galloway attends and promotes Township sponsored functions such as the Veteran's Day Ceremony and the Memorial Day Ceremony. She also works with the township to create activities she feels the community will benefit from. Miss Teen Galloway 2008 worked with Roland Rogers Elementary School to promote reading for Read Across America, as well as, planting a tree at Patriot Lake in honor of Earth Day.
